On 17th May 2025, Pipe Band Aid are on the road again fundraising for the essential organisation, Macmillan Cancer Support.
The buckets are counted from Saturday's fundraiser for CHAS Children's Hospices Across Scotland - we raised a total of £7,000.
This massively exceeds our expectations, as well as our previous record for an event like this!
Our upcoming fundraiser on 2nd November 2024, is poised to be an exciting and impactful event. We are aiming to match or even surpass the success of last year’s fundraiser by gathering an even larger band of dedicated musicians.
A massive thankyou to the people of Edinburgh for their generosity at our fundraiser on 5th May. We got a fantastic £1172 in donations for the crowds on the Royal Mile.
A massive thanks to all who came along to support our fundraiser for Strathcarron Hospice. Again we had a massive band which we split into 2 bands to cover all the pubs involved. We managed to raise £3500 for this fantasic charity.
On 9th March 2024 Pipe Band Aid will be out on the streets of Stirling for our first fundraiser of the year. We hope to have 2 bands visiting Stirling city centre pubs collecting donations for this fantastic charity.

We are walking the Kilt Walk for Maggie's Centres because they're a lifeline for those affected by cancer.
Tuesday 12th September 2023 is the Scotland v England game which Pipe Band Aid will be out again in the streets around Hampden fundraising for our charity to provide the equipment and funds we need.
What a brilliant day in Edinburgh for our fundraiser for Edinburgh Childrens Hospital Charity. We had, I think, the biggest band ever at 32 players and shakers. So big in fact we split it into two to cover more ground. One in the New town and one the Old town of Edinburgh....
Our next fundraiser is on Saturday 1st July in Edinburgh city centre. The band will be collecing in local pubs in 2 areas, the Grassmarket and Royal Mile. We are fundraising for the wonderful organisation, Edinburgh Childrens Hospital Charity.
We recently hosted "An Evening with Pipe Band Aid" for a community which have supported Pipe Band Aid in Banton called The Swan. Here's some photos and videos, hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed playing.
On Saturday 10th Dec 2022, Pipe Band Aid were out again raising money for charity in the pubs and streets of Glasgow. We played in about 17 different locations in the city center. We raised £3,640 for Clyde 1 Cash For Kids. Thanks everyone.

On 3rd September 2022, a group of us carried our instruments up Ben Nevis and played them at the summit. In the last week of August 2022 we were delighted to be able to present a check to Cumbernauld and Kilsyth Baby Bank for £1235 by our chairman and piper Chris Davidson.
