The band started really early at 3:30am to drive to Ben Nevis for the Pipe Band Aid fundraiser challenge for Nathans wheelchair. The forecast was bad, 65mph gusts of wind. In good spirits they set off but man it was hard work. Nevis is an unrelenting climb of steep zig zag paths but all 9 of them got to the summit. Congratulations xx!!

Visibility at the summit came and went but the band got their pipes and drums out and played a few tunes together before scoffing the last of their sandwiches and starting the climb back down. By 4:30pm everyone was back down safe and sound. They even had the energy to strike up in the pub and play some more tunes.
